When grown indoors, the Thai Constellation Monstera can reach 3 to 6 feet tall and 2 to 4 feet wide, depending on care and container size. With proper support and space, the leaves can grow over 12 inches wide, showing off their signature marbled variegation.

Thai Constellation Monstera is a moderate to slow grower compared to standard green Monsteras. You can expect a few new leaves per season when grown in the right conditions — bright, indirect light and consistent care help it grow steadily year-round.

Place your Thai Constellation in bright, indirect light, such as near an east- or north-facing window. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its variegated leaves. It also thrives in warm, humid areas away from cold drafts or vents — think living rooms, bedrooms, or offices with natural light.

Repot when the plant becomes root-bound or growth slows — usually every 1–2 years. Spring or early summer is ideal. Choose a pot that’s 1–2 inches larger in diameter and has good drainage, and use a chunky mix designed for aroids.

While not required, a moss pole or stake helps your Thai Constellation climb and develop larger, more fenestrated leaves. As a natural climber, giving it vertical support mimics its native environment and encourages upright, healthy growth.

Aerial roots can be left alone, guided into the soil, or trimmed if they’re unruly. If possible, tuck them into the soil or moss pole to help the plant stabilize and absorb extra moisture. They’re normal and a sign your plant is thriving!

Occasional misting is okay, but it’s not essential. Instead, aim to increase overall humidity with a humidifier or pebble tray. Regular misting can increase the risk of fungal issues if leaves don’t dry quickly, so avoid misting at night or in poorly ventilated areas.

Variegation in Thai Constellation is genetically stable, meaning it won’t revert. However, to encourage more creamy-white marbling, provide:
• Consistent bright, indirect light
• Proper fertilization (don’t overfeed)
• Stress-free care — avoid extreme fluctuations in light, water, or temperature

At Simply Trees, we're committed to your satisfaction. If your plants arrive considerably damaged or sustained damage beyond the point of recovery, please contact us within five days at sales@simplytrees.com with clear photos of the entire plant in question for assistance. Our 1 year guarantee covers issues after planting, subject to our terms. We can't cover plants in the wrong climate or with inadequate care, but we're here to help in other situations. All California orders require a mandatory inspection by the Texas Department of Agriculture (yep, it’s a USDA thing!). These inspections happen about once a week—typically on Tuesdays, though the day can vary. If you place an order just after an inspection, your plant may not ship for several days until the next one. Unfortunately, we’re not able to expedite this part of the process.

Also, due to USDA regulations, we’re unable to ship oak trees, citrus or fruit trees (except olive trees) to California. This rule helps prevent the spread of pests and diseases and applies to nurseries across the country.
