Our Promise

Simply Trees stands behind every plant we ship. If your plant dies or is too damaged to recover within one year of delivery, we’ll send you a one-time replacement, subject to the terms below. Replacement, not refund, is the sole remedy under this guarantee.


What’s
Covered

• Any tree, shrub, or houseplant purchased directly from Simply Trees and planted within its USDA-recommended growing zone.
• Plants that receive appropriate care: proper planting depth, adequate watering, suitable sunlight, well-draining soil, seasonal protection, and prompt attention to pests.


What’s Not Covered

• Plants installed outside their recommended zones.
• Indoor plants placed where light, temperature, or airflow needs aren’t met.
• Damage from neglect, improper planting, under- or over-watering, nutrient deficiency, incorrect pruning, herbicides, lawn-equipment injury, animal browsing, vandalism, or extreme weather events (heat waves, drought, floods, freezes, wind, hail, etc.).
• Cosmetic issues that do not affect long-term health (minor leaf drop, seasonal color change, normal transplant stress).
• Any loss occurring after a replacement has already been issued for the same item.


Arrival Issues (First 5 Days)

If your plant looks severely damaged on arrival, email clear photos of the entire plant and shipping box to sales@simplytrees.com within five (5) calendar days of delivery. We’ll review the images and arrange a replacement when the damage is confirmed.


In-Ground Issues (Day 6 to Day 365)

Should a plant decline after successful planting, contact us as soon as you notice a problem, no later than seven (7) days after symptoms appear, and always within one (1) year of delivery. Include recent, well-lit photos of the plant, its planting site, and a brief description of your care routine. Our horticulture team will diagnose the cause; if the loss is covered, we’ll authorize one-time replacement.


Replacement Details

• Each qualifying item is eligible for a single replacement of the same species and size; if unavailable, we may issue store credit for the original purchase price (excluding shipping and taxes).
• If the customer selects a different plant as the replacement and it costs more than the original item, the customer pays the difference; if it costs less, the remaining amount is issued as store credit.
• Replacement plants ship during the next appropriate planting window for your region.
• Customers are responsible for all shipping and applicable taxes on replacement orders.


No Refunds

Cash or credit-card refunds are not offered under this guarantee. Acceptance of a replacement or store credit constitutes full satisfaction of any claim.


Customer Responsibilities

Retain your original order confirmation and follow all care instructions provided on our website. Failure to supply requested information or photos within stated timeframes voids coverage.


How to File a Claim

Email sales@simplytrees.com with:
  1. Your order number.
  2. Clear photos (full plant, close-ups of problem areas, and planting site).
  3. A brief description of planting method, watering schedule, fertilizer, and any relevant weather events.
We respond within two (2) business days with next steps. Claims submitted after the one-year anniversary of delivery are not eligible.


Policy Updates

Simply Trees may revise this guarantee at any time; changes do not affect plants purchased prior to the revision date.
