Planting instructions
Choose a planting location with full sun and well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and about the same depth as the container. Place the rose in the hole, backfill with soil, and gently firm to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly after planting. Apply 2–3 inches of mulch around the base to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature, keeping mulch away from the crown of the plant.
Watering & sunlight
Water deeply 1–2 times per week, especially during the growing season and periods of heat. Roses prefer consistent moisture without soggy soil, and watering frequency will vary depending on climate, rainfall, and soil conditions.

Windermere™ Rose grows best in full sun, which promotes strong flowering and healthy foliage.
Care guide

PRUNING:
Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead or weak stems and shape the shrub to encourage airflow and repeat blooming. Deadheading spent flowers throughout the season can encourage additional blooms.

FERTILIZING:
Apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring, then continue feeding throughout the growing season to support healthy growth and repeat flowering. Avoid fertilizing for the first 2–3 months after delivery to allow the plant to adjust and establish.

WINTER PROTECTION:
Windermere™ Rose is cold hardy within its recommended zones, but in colder climates, applying 2–3 inches of mulch around the base can help protect roots during winter.
